Default Novarossi 353 or RB v12 R3

hi guys, im interested in these engines and cant decided which one should i choose yet. i have heard that 353 has a smoother powerband and its easier to tune. i also have a lhs supporting nova parts. rb is more aggressive a think. prices are nearly same. anyone knows which one is better on bottom end-top end please share your info. thanks in advance.

Both are bad ass motors. I would go with an RB R3RC if you can afford a few extra dollars. As far as parts, the rod, carb and bearings are the same.

there both good engines and i would say get a max power XL3 but if you have a novarossi supple at you local hobbie shop then go with the 353 that is the most important you can get replacement parts

Both are great engines. RB engines are known for mad power. Both are Novarossi based engines. I would go with the RB if it were my decision. I also have a sweet spot for the 3SCT tuned version.

Of course 353. It is the orginal RB R3 is a nova base motor. and base from a old serie nova. The 353 have all you want. I have both engines. Thrust me 353 is faster than R3.
