Default OS plugs turbo

I recently laid my my OS 12tz Speed tuned engine to rest (rear bearing failure). The only problem Is I have about a dozen plugs leftover. Can these plugs be used in any other engine.

Pretty much anything other than Novarossi based motors.

I've managed to use those plugs in my Ninja 12r01 without issues.

By the way I just bought one of those speed tuned TZ, how long did it last you?

I have 2 Picco's, 1 Novarossi and 1 Axe Rossi. Those are the engines I currently have. It looks like I'm out of luck

As far as the Os 12tz speed tuned. It was a decent engine. The power band is extremely smooth all over. I bought the engine used with a new Piston, sleeve and connecting rod. But the bearings were never replaced. Thats what failed on my engine. I only got about a gallon and half of fuel thru it before it failed. I only paid 125.00 for the engine so I think I broke even on the engine. If I were to buy one new I would go for a Novarossi at the current price of the OS spec II

I think you might have mis-understood me. You can use OS plugs in just about any motor other than a Nova so use them up in your Picco.

Well I have not run the OS plug in my ZX-12 but I did compare how the plug sits in the burn chamber. The OS plug sits slightly deeper in the burn chamber. The LRP and Mega plug sit at the same height in the burn chamber which is slight above the burn chamber. I'm talking maybe about maybe .02 mm. Best believe I will try them. I just did not want to damage my button head by forcing the wrong plug into it. Thanks for the reply.

I believe the Novarossi & Axe Rossi use the same turbo plug taper between those two brands. The OS plugs I believe may only work on the Picco engine. I would take the head button off and check it to make sure though, but for sure, the Novarossi it will not work. The OS taper is too large and will push the novarossi button chamber in.

Well I did some more investigating. I found that the OS plug fits better in the burn chamber of the ZX-12 than the LRP plug. The LRP spec III is a Picco based engine but the button heads of these two engines are totally different. Now I just need to take a look at my Axe Rossi button head.

Thanks for the info gentleman.
