Although you couldn't see if a piston and liner are matched or not in a picture, I suppose the engines internals will look something like that:

has the exhaust been enlarged? the stock picco 3 only had a small exhaust outlet compared to come other engines

For those running OS plugs, have you trued the P8s? I have a mess of them left in my pit box and wondering if they'd be any good to use or how would the JLR run?. However I am on 20% though instead of 30%...which isn't a problem power wise.

Isnt P8s like a very very cold OS plug??? I remember when I tried using #8 plugs in my car and resulted in a total disaster power and setting wise. And I live in a tropical weather... Imagine if it was a cold weather.... Dunno, maybe someone has more hands-on experience

It's a cold plug for the OS, but not sure how does it compare for other engines. It works excellent in the OS .12TZ motors as those are the standard plugs to use. Some racers here use the P8 even with 20% with no issues - I am one of the few racers. Maybe you have more humidity where you are that may have something to do with it.

Whats the difference between a matched piston / sleeve ?

dont all engines match up when they are run in?

wouldnt all engines be matched? otherwise how will the piston/sleev fit together?

On non-matched engines the piston and sleeve are paired together randomly, they just grab parts from a bin and assemble them. On matched engines a number of piston and sleeve sets are meassured, and the pairs(one piston and one sleeve) with the closest measurements are paired together to provide a thighter pinch. Thats why they cost more, they take more time to assemble.

If "matched piston/sleeve" is mentioned it means the tolerance is much tighter.

Don't need to modify your engine, trust me it's plenty fast
