but to someone that has not been doing it a long time it is
and really some ppl think they do
i just dont like seeing nobes getting hot mod motors and getting all frustrated with it.

is the XL3 the new SL3 i dont see it on max's site any more the SL3

The difference is in the piston construction. The sl3 has a microcast piston and the xl3 has the longer lasting billet cnc piston like the mega masmo series.

I love this engine so far. I've just finished breaking it in and i'm getting good run times. I haven't really started to go for ultimate speed yet and it's producing good usable power.

Two of them were used this past weekend at the US Open Sedan Nationals in FL. One set TQ and the other finished second in the overall A main points. I don't believe either had runtime issues all weekend.

looking at the web site this morning, I see an XL3 racer and an XXL3 which has more RPM and power.......

weird the XL3 is not listed. the XXL3 is a long strong version though.

the racer edition looks like it has a CRF heatsink
