Default Novarossi NS12P

Hello,

I am looking for specs on the backup engine to the Novarossi Plus 353 package. Please post if you know about this engine, your experience, what you have heard.

Thanks in advance,

I just opened one and what I found is beyond ridiculous.

This is a mix and match puzzle from all their old engines.

At best, I'd say this engine is good for stadium trucks or as a rain engine.

The crank has the smallest intake opening I've ever seen on an NR engine. The counter weight on the crank is full circle like on the first MT12's and it'susing the long rod of the MT12.

If you look through the exhaust outlet, half the opening is blocked by the sleeve.

I'll try and mod this egine to where it's usable as an onraod engine, but I'm afraid, my Dremel won't be enough. I should probably get some dynamite to blast the holes to correct size....

Thanks for your comments. Would you know the HP and RPM for this engine. I can't find it on the Novarossi.it website.
I did find a NS12P3 but it doesn't look the same.

Can anybody provide actual running experiences with this engine.

Stefan, did you run the engine? I have tested this engine and your silly if you sold it i ashore you will be kicking your self when you see one run. The engine is wicked very fast as fast as most outher engines. I tested mine today at a club race and the engine is a shinning paformer very fast consistant relable and powerfull. It was faster then most top of the line engine such as ninja ro1 and its not far off a 35+21 in the paformance if you gear the engine right its as quick. I defnatly recamend useing it for any type of racing. Its very impressive to say the lest. Regards Jeremy.

I'm not having a go at any one. People bag these second engines yet they never try them. All i say is don't nock it antill you try it or see it run properly. Thats all i ask. Best Regards Jeremy.
