Pipe recomendation

I'm looking for a .12 size pipe that gives the best run time. Please list your motor, pipe and run time. thanks

JL .12 and a Skyline VR12 Plus = 6 minutes
JL .12 and MEGA/PICCO 2607 = 5 1/2 minutes
Mega MF .12 and a Mega 2602 = a little less than 5 1/2 minutes
All above are based on a 30% fuel

This will make you $hit:
Orion CRF .12 Wasp w/ RD Logics II pipe = average of 9 to 9.5 minutes.
How I do it, no one can tell. Everyone at the track sees my setup and it is tuned very well, help of Josh Cyrul from the start. No blown or fouled plugs. Runs strong. Running a CD3, and the car is VERY heavy. This was enough to stump some of the best minds at the track, but the proof is in the tank!

That is pretty amazing. Must be a factory defect. J/K!! What are your settings?

Most I can get out of my CRF with VR12 Plus pipe is 6-6.5 minutes.

CD3 has a tank can hold more then 75cc, that is the reason why

That is funny, Cowboy started this thread asking for the pipe that will give the best runtime, and this guy posted about the runtime he is getting from his car w/ RD Logics pipe, which the real reason is the (BIG) Fuel tank of his car being illegal.:sneaky:

when i was running the cd3 and the tc3 my run time was long.

So thats why my CD3 tank lasted so long, i thought the hyper .12 i had in there ran off fumes, always came back from a qualifier with atleast half a tank

I have measured amount of fuel from a full CD3 fuel tank and have not found it to hold more than 75cc's of fuel. One item to consider for run times is if the racetrack does not place long, high speed demands on an engine you can get away with an overall leaner mixture. This also depends on the exhaust pipe characteristics.

I used to get anywhere up to 11.5 mins out of a Modified Rody V.12 in a Mugen MTX 3 , With an ofna 2 chamber pipe 75 ml tank 16 % nitro .. This was on a short track with limited EPA on the throttle .. The Pipe was modified too , i milled the stinger and drilled the baffle out ... But the pipe was ok , i used a couple of Nova pipes and a Sirio one .. I wanted to try the Skyline and Mugen pipes ,, they seemed to have the goods re power ... Mind you i leaned the engine to within an inch of its life , got a bit over 18 litres through it and it still runs ...
