Default Nitro Fuel Percentages for .12 Engines

Can you safely run 25%nitro on a .12 sized engine.
What is the min and max % one can use.

I run 25% in my .12's with no problem. Just make sure to check head clearance and shim as needed.

I think it really depends on your application,if you are just playing arround in front of your house and i parking lots i would recomend running 20% but if you are competing i would run 30% with the correct head clearence for the engine you are running..

Default Nitro

If your skills are good you will benefit from 30% but you should use 20% if you are just starting racing. It is easier to tune with 20% and safer on the engines.

Just need to check head clearance in order to run up to 30% nitro.
.35mm - .45 is good for 16%/20% and .45 - .50 is good for 30% but tuning is more critical with higher nitro and what plug you use.

Thanks for the info.
I did the breaking with 25% and it seems to work fine. Using a SH12 with turbo head.
This engine is wicked. Also very good on fuel consumption.
