The old green head is out of stock. So all new D21T will have the new red head. The MKII has improved low end respond. New designed sleeve and piston. All engines come with one standard head button and one trubo head button. 7mm & 8mm Plastic Venturis included in the new packaging. The price is the same as D21T Green head.

About this STS D.21Tgreen head motor. I really like the power. it has low and top end. I bought one mid season last year. I broke it in, then run low speeds for one race day then run it for 2 more weeks at full out. I was in the warm up laps for the main on the 4th week out and the crank broke. I got the parts to replace it but the race season was over by then. So this year I took it out and run 6 tanks thru it and guess what??? Today the new crank broke in the same place as the first one did. What’s up with that?
Have any of you guys ever heard of this happening to this motor before?

Maybe thats why they revised it as the new crank doesn't have the silicon on the inside of it and doesn't look anything special.
The cranks they use could be to thin like other performance brands and cant take the punishment of heat and revs unlike there cheaper brothers?
Time will tell as I have the new one in my hands right now ready to be run in. Wish me luck...

good luck on the new motor. for me, i am only going to use the team motor i have untill my other one comes in then i am done with the sts brand. i have sent a few mails out to them and no responce. so looks like i will not get replacement parts for it and can't see spending more money on a motor that keeps breaking.

True True. This is my 3rd sts motor, D3R, D28? now the D21T mk11 but this is the most performance orientated one I have.
The D3R has taken a belting as well as the D28 with no worries yet.

Didn't see a response regards the on or off question! It looks to have a larger off-road head, but the angle makes it hard to tell for sure.
