Manifold size?

Hi,

Anyone knows what are the differences between the short, medium and long manifolds used on exhausts?

Short is more bottom power or is it the opposite?

Thanks in advance

The lengths of the manifold control the overall tuned length of the tuned pipe. The shorter the tuned pipe the higher in the rpm the peak power will occur. The longer the tuned pipe the lower in the rpm the peak power will occur.

Basically short = top end power and long = bottom end power

Personally I use the medium header on my Novarossi pipe. It's pretty balanced.
