I sent him an email on sunday and got a reply on monday. I asked about the Sirio STI, JL Picco Red Dot, and Ninja .12 and his reply was that his favorite engine right now was the JL Red Dot. So that'll be my next major purchase.

Hi. The stock Head Clearance on the Ninja .12 is .27mm, or .0105". This is OK for 16% nitro, but to run 30 you will need to add at least one .1mm shim.

thanks, thats kind of strange, there is a thread somewhere that says I should use .36 total head clearance for 16% and .56 for 30% is there a reason why the ninja has much less head clearance? how much total head clearance would you recommend for 30%?

Hehe. Not exactly sure, but it looks as if someone removed the cylinder with a screwdriver, or a 2.5mm wrench.

This is an expensive lesson.................and I wasn't the one that did it. I'm not sure who did it. Next time, I will just wait and have Grinder do the work.
