Or it may have just been run too long on that bearing. I feel more confident with ceramic bearings.
Thanks for the information about the ceramic bearings Well, will just have to keep in check my ceramic bearings then. I'm still using the ones that came from the engine. I have checked them after every run. As of now I have about 1.5 of 25% Tornado fuel thru the engine. The bearing still runs smoothly. Can't detect any metallic sound as you advised. Give or take, how much fuel can you run thru the engine with the correct race settings for the HSN and LSN?

Uriah - Did you mention something about chasing 1/8 scales around? I don't know who would do such a thing. LOL

Hi. Not all of the modified engines come with ceramic bearings. In the description the engine will be described as full ceramic if it has ceramic bearings. Some of the engines like the Novarossi 35+21, and +12-3SCT engines come with one ceramic bearing in the rear from the factory.

Hi Grinder,

Will the modified CRF Engine comply with the EFRA 2006 rules to make it eligible for racing here in the "behind the times" UK.

Regards

Diesel Racer

Thanks Grinder,

Can you now run this engine with the standard clutch parts or does it still need the late engaging clutch?
