There is no advantage to an INS box, other than maybe a bit more fuel mileage and less noise. They are required by rules.

They act like about .5mm smaller venturi. Some more than others.

Hey Uriah I was wondering what motor you you would recommend. The mm 35+21, or the mm flash special. Also is the performance of the flash great enough to warrant the price compared to the mm 35+22.

Mr. Murnan,

I attemped to send you an e-mail thruogh your website but I assume I was unsuccssful.

Anyways my question to you is can you rebuild and modify A .12 ninja motor. It was improperly broken in at my lhs about two seasons ago. now that I'm getting more serious about racing I find that I'm goin to need a backup motor just in case I lose another brand new motor.

thank you for your time,
Carlos Marcano

Hi Carlos. I can no longer get parts for that engine. If you can get the parts to rebuild it, I can do it. I do have the connecting rods, and bearings for the engine here. You will need the Piston Sleeve set.

Depends on your pocket book I guess. The Flash Special is nice. Both can make about the same laptimes though. The Flash is the nicer engine. Black case, better carb, rubber under the head button, steel insert backplate. things like that. The Flash gets slightly better fuel mileage.

Uriah, looking for a motor to use in uk for our new gt class, 200mm, 220mm or 235mm with a motor limit of .15, last year I ran novarossi 12-5sct against .15 with good results, just wondered if your modded 3 port .12 motors would have similar power?

Mr. Murnan,

I just got your email from your web-shop.

I see what you're sayin and I think I can get the parts for it.

As far as re-building and if possible modding it maybe you can pm some ideas you may have as to what we can do. The motor itself has zero miles on it the issue was that it was improperly broken in and has no pinch what so ever. I hate seeing it sit there collecting dust so I figure if i can get it re-built why not get it modded as well.

Thanks,
Carlos Marcano

Uriah can you compare the performance of the rb m3 and the mm flash . 12. Which one to get? Please chime in.

Also what engine would be faster the Murnan modified sirio cl7r sti or the Murnan modified flash .21

Hi. I can actually make a special .12 for that. I make the 3 port into a 5 port engine for that class. The modified 3 port is faster than a stock 5 port engine.

I have one modified Novarossi NS15S5 engine that has more power than the .12's. Novarossi discontinued this engine though, so there are not replacement parts readily available for it.
