They don't seem to fit very well. Does this motor use a different plug, like an OS or Sirio? It's marked as a seven, but that's all that is on it.

Thanks for your guidance and good luck in Maryland.

Steve,

The plug is a Ninja 7, that is the coldest plug in the Ninja line. The taper on the plug is different than the Nova plugs, you can use a O.S. plug in the Ninja. I would use a #P8 O.S. plug, that is the coldest plug O.S. makes.

Default Ninja R01A Glow Plug

Hi Ira,

Thanks for your guidance! Great run in Chicago and nice win. I believe its been a while since someone new to a class qualified second overall and won their first race in the Series, so great job buddy - keep it going!

Actually OS plugs are a different taper as well. Sirio or IDM Picco Plugs can be used.

No problem Steve,

The best plug is the Ninja 7 plug for that Engine. I'm using a Ninja 7 in my .21engine ( Cordoba ), I have a gallon on it and still looks new.

i too am deciding which one to order from you. when you say the 353 piston material is not as strong, are we talking 10%, 30%, 50% less then the +12?

also, i am thinking of ordering it with the run-in service you offer, what do you actually do (bench or car), how much fuel, is the motor pulled apart, etc etc?

Uriah,

The Capital Classic was off the hook this year once again. Thanks for all of the support and hooking me up with some serious HP. It was a great to battle with you in the C and allowing us both to bump to the B where we had another chance to battle again.

Your work has proven itself time and time again!! You and your motors ROCK!

Thanks again for the support and see you soon.

Uriah,

Thanks for bringing along the extra ponies.

After stripping the head button on my original R3, I really needed the Murnan Modified R3 from you which worked flawlessly. Several of the top drivers from the different manufacturers commented very favorably on the power that my car had.

To top it off, the motor didn't run higher than 270F on Saturday and Sunday where the air temps were around 95F and most motors were operating at 300F+. It made at least 5:10 runtime all weekend with 25% nitro content Maxy's Fuel and 0.5mm head shimming, including the fourth qualifier where I ran 55mm/57mm tires. The new head button had a nice brown burn color to it at the end of Sunday with absolutely no pitting.

For those that don't know about the Murnan Modified R3, I have to quote the Washington Post...

If you don't get, you don't get it.

The Byron Fuel is great, just make sure you have the correct head shimming.
