The Skyline will let the engine rev a little higher. The 2607 makes gobs of power, and torque but can seem to go flat on the larger tracks. The Skyline does not.

Default Sirio Power Clutch

Just wanted to thank Murnan for sending out the sirio power clutch so quickly. Ordered it late evening April 17. Got it today on the 19th. Now, that's what I call FAST SHIPPING ( GA. to CAL.) .

Hi Murnan

What differences did you find between the Max Power 2602 pipe and novarossi 2630 with 6 fin medium header on the Nova Plus2 353 engine? And please advise which pipe is better suited to small, medium and large track with the 353 engine? Thanks!

Hey Uriah, I have a Sirio Evo2 3 port AAC. Are there parts still available for this engine? Or can I use EVO 3 internals? Are there any other internals that might work with this engine? Thanks!

murnan, do you port prebroken in engines? Do you mod .21 onroad rb motors?

Grinder

i have been running in one of your 2008 353 and on the last 750cc on your break-in it is running at 125 degrees Celsius "257 F" running on 16% nitro 12% Castor with a extra .1 shim on the head.

could it be the motor is still to tight cold or could a early clutch and 2 speed be causing the heat in the motor. the motor is really rich.

what is the purpose of the other needle that came with the motor.

The 2602 will give you a little more out of the hole than the 2630. The 2630 will rev more. I would go with the 2602 on a small track, and the 2630 on a larger track.

As far as I know there are not parts made for that engine. I think that the Evo 3 parts do fit in the Evo 2. You would have to use the Evo 3 crank, rod, piston, sleeve, pin, etc..

At any rate you are better, and cheaper to get a new Sirio Evo 4.

Hi. The engines are very tight when new. Those temperatures are not a problem as long as your still rich. The engines run optimally around 280 F sometimes hotter. You will also typically want to remove the extra shim after break in if you are running 16% nitro.

The clutch, and 2 speed can cause some heat if they engage too early. It is more likely that those are normal operating temperatures. Also the more you lean the engine the faster the car goes the more air cools the engine. Many times I can lean my engine, and the temps will remain the same due to the increased airflow.

The other low speed needle valve will smooth out the throttle response, and give you better fuel mileage.

Which pipe, and header are you using?
