Hi DJ, interesting comment. What I have noticed is that fuel runs through the fuel pipe from the exhaust and back into the tank. Is this the sort of thing you mean ?

Also, I don't know if it's connected, but there was a puddle of fuel on the chassis. It would appear that fuel is leaking from the pipe connection to the tank even though I have it fixed tight with a cable tie. Is there a better way of securing the fuel pipe ?

I think it is obvious that your problem of loosing pressure is the fuel line leak, I suggest you use a good quality Fuel line/tubing which will eliminate the leaking problem, some cheap fuel lines just won't hold up, find Dubro brand they are guaranteed good quality.

It is possible. It is easy to see, just put another pipe. If it does not work than try other possibilities. Could be fuel tubing, fuel tank, etc.
