Novarossi CT and SCT

Hi,

Want to know what is the different on the Novarossi Plus 12 5 CT and SCT? I heard the SCT has bigger crankshaft. What is the size?

From what I know, the SCT has a crankshaft diameter of 11.9mm as compared to the regular CT with a diameter of 11.5mm. Hope this helps. Check out this link http://www.kawahara-racing.co.jp/novapage.html

To add, with the bigger crankshaft of 11.9mm instead of the stock 11.5mm, the bearings for this engine is bigger (front and rear ceramic bearing)

Sorry to ask this dump question. What a crankshaft with larger diameter is faster? I always thought you want the rotating mass to be as low as possible
