Default OS 12 Redhead too hot??

So I got just got one of these engines. It starts, idles, and runs great. It has a pretty good smoke trail and is even spitting a little fuel.

My problom is that it runs 250-270F, and I cant make time..!!

Ive heard to change the head to the odonnell one but I cant find it for the life of me...

What can I do here? This is in my AD2 with 18/51 if it matters.

I yanked it tonight and noticed it was a little greasy around the pinch bolt (oppisate side of the bolt). Also dirt seemed to be more attracted to my carb??Is it leaking?Could this make it run hot?Just incase, it cam with the A3 hot plug..I switched to the #8??

thanks
