Well as promised i tested a JLR Red Dot on my X-Dyno. And speaking of the ofna X12 pipe thats all i had here was a old Ofna X12 pipe. I need to get a VR12 and the picco 2607 but haven't had much time to play around with it and get it dialed perfectly. I just got the dyno yesturday, so i have just made a few runs on it... But i was impressed with its power output even on this pipe which im sure is not the best pipe for it by any means. I was especially happy with the broad TQ it produced. This is one hell of a .12, and the cost on it makes it even better!

This is on 30% fuel with a cold plug and mildly modified. I tried a medium plug and TQ droped down to 30-31oz in and HP went down in the .9s. I plan on doin more with this engine as far as testing different pipes ect. I'll let you guys know as i test.

Heres the dyno results.

I first ran my Red Dot with the Novarossi 2630 and it wasn't until I put on the Mega 2607 that I saw the true potential of the motor.

I'm going to order that pipe but right now the Novarossi is all I have. I'm just trying to find out what performance to expect from this engine/pipe combo in the mean time.

I tried the 2630 and the skyline pipe, and when I put in the Picco pipe I was completely sold on it. It opens up the engine everywhere. I would recommend not running anything other than the Picco pipe!!

Yeah Robert, I'm definitely learning and trying to get better. You know we can't quit this R/C drug man. I'm not gonna be able to make it to Texas, but trying to make it to Kissimmee for the US Open Sedan Champ..

Seems like u took a long break, so hope u're back and enjoying this thing we all love so much.

P.S. - Thanks for getting me hooked on this JL motor. You were the first one I saw run that motor at Port Charlotte and u made everyone look like they were going backwards on the track .

Without a doubt this engine is happiest when its combined with the 2607 pipe. Especially if your running on a big track. For those of you just getting this engine, don't forget to gear up. This engine likes to rev.

What is the best set up for this engine on a small track? Last time I had it out, I could not even get into 2nd gear! (I have the 2607 pipe)

I just switch to the 2607 pipe last sunday, and with the other pipe the engine was very rich, you're gona have to lean it out a lot on the bottom, I couldnt keep the darn thing running until I started leaning it out.
