Would love to hear your feedback. I've been running the STI since this season, but picked up a Red Dot today. In need of some good weather hear in NY though to break it in.

Pelico- You run at Floyd Bennet Field or are you further north in the state of NY and not city? It seems we may have rain or snow this weekend so there goes my trip to floyd.

The power comes on a lot smoother than the STI. The engine revs really fast and it feels like it has more rpm than the Sirio.

Picco's have always been fast, but they were never this easy to tune.

I race at Floyd Harkonnen. Based on the forecast tomorrow should be pretty good, so u should try to make it out, but forget about Sunday.

I've been working Saturday's for the past 3-4 weeks and the weather has been bad on Sundays. My motors are just begging for good weather so that I can break them in.

Thanks for the info. Peter. I'm looking forward to seeing how this baby runs or it may just be a monster .

Does anyone know who sells the piston and sleeve for the engine? It's always good to have a spare just in case.

I purchased a red dot as well this week and am very impressed with it. There very easy to break-in. They actually get tighter as they break-in and start to get a good seal. I like engines being this way instead of crazy tight at first. It is so hard on the rods when the engines are insanly tight. This red dot is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the initial break-in for sure. I honestly cant say enough good things about the JLR. Very impressed, especially for the price!

Yeah unfortunately I work Saturdays now to have a weekday off and as another techician was moved from my shop. Sunday is going to be a washout, but I hope it passes and it will be nice out. Too bad that may not happen...
