I need factory settings. Where it is at I know isnt right. Plus last time this sucker was ran, was last winter when it was nice and cold out.
Then just open the HSN 1 full turn counterclockwise (richen it) and tune from there, leaning it out 1 hour at a time until race tune.

And that is not the case. Daniele won the works with the IDM not a JL EDO "Tuned".

This is a win for the Picco motor, and it was Picco that paid for his trip to the Worlds so he wanted us to emphasize this.
Who is correct again? read the post of RedRc.

I do not know what it is that has happened. This has not been a big get even with you Sam. And I do not know why it is that you seem to take things this way as well. Wrong, right, indifferent I have never spoke poorly of any product on the forums. What Redrc has posted clears up the confusion though it troubles me about the Speaking with Daniele. But I understand and as I said on other posts that I would not by any means think that Eduardo would not ask for this as they make his engine parts. And as for the engines Picco, Edo, JL, IDM, All of them have something to offer and are good. That is what it has been about and has gone way over with this arguing about the subject. I am tired of this.

I think it would be better if you would just stick to the IDM thread, XSpower, instead of posting so much on this one.

So on the EVO3 what is the "correct shimming" for 20% and what is the actual head clearance at that shimming? I'm at 0.45mm head clearance. I just want to know differences in the shimming vs head clearance on this motor.

so i finally got the jl3
came with 0.6mm shimi and what amazed the most
is how easy is the running in, and of course the play
of the crankshaft, first tank, got a leaking, all the guidelines
from this site gave me some help so i applied rtv in the carb and
the sccrew that secures the carb, still leaking, ba bang
the nipple wich i turned so the fuel line is in front was the reason
a little rtv and problem solved, no more leaking, now 4 more tanks
for tomorrow on the track and that should do it
cant wait to race it!
just wondering, 0.5mm for 20 nitro and the picco 5hot glow plug
should be ok at sea level and temps around 80s right?

.5mm for 20% should be good.
The temperature is a bit low, but I beleive you have not yet pushed the motor, so I'd leave as it is until ready to be race tuned.

good luck
