The taper is like you already know the shape of where thew plug seals. So the plug you put in needs to meet the degree of angle. Nova plugs have a shallower taper and they will not seal right and distort the taper. You do not want to do this. You can run the OS as they have the same taper and also the picco and the sirio plugs as well. They all share the same. The Odonnell if it fits in thew OS which I do think it does will fit and you can run them. But you may see a difference in the way the engine runs with the different plugs though. Hope it answers the question. And for the price the Euro is way high and the yen and such is still a bit lower. That is why they are so much different in price.

Is there a complete list of plugs showing the difference of the plugs?
And is there a complete list of which brand plug fits in which brand engine?

Due to technical problems with the Mega/Picco plugs caused by the new exhaust pipes we have to run in Europe, I had to look for a different plug in my Mega DSII .21 Engine, I ended up with GRP plugs, because they are also the same.... Sirio plugs (I've heard) are even better....

So also the GRP (Ninja) plugs, fit Picco based engines....

It to me seems that Only Novarossi has a different tapper then the other manufacturers.....

I need to replace my evo3 after this weekend at the Capital Classic. It got to 360 once and to 450 in the mian. But not sure if I want to get regular one or a tuned version. The regular evo3 ran great til all the heat from this past weekend. I've heard that the tuned one is a gas hog. 301 is my home track. So fuel milage is important. Any opinions?

Take off your Head Button and install the Ninja Plug, then on the combustion chamber side you will see right away that it won't seat flush against the combustion chamber, meaning it won't work.

Then the Ninja plug is different from the GRP plug (which i assume isn't the case), because GRP plugs fit perfectly on my Mega head button....
