Weird engine sounds

Hi,

I ran my car just now for about a minute or so... I have a LST2

it ran great... what I noticed, however, was a weird sound (i.e. I've never heard it before, this is my first nitro car)

When I got the car up to speed (lets say 1/4 of the throttle) and then got off the throttle, I would hear a weird noise - it was like the engine revving up... or maybe it was something in the tranny? Like one of those big discs?

Could it be that the LSN is too lean, and so it was revving up?

Can anyone help me?

Is it a grinding noise? i.e. bearing going bad? or is it just revving up after the throttle? if so it is just LSN too lean.

also check that your radio is set to close the carb properley, when you let of it may slow down but not close the carb to where it would idle normal. if it's ring tinging of throttle idle needle may be set to high as well or be leen on the bottom. hope that helps.

Lift it off the ground and give it a revv then full brakes and see what happens, if it seems to linger at high throttle it could be overly lean or an air leak.

Try tuning it again from the base settings for that engine and check your linkages and let us know what happens
