Default KICKASS MODIFIED SIRIO

Due to popular demand (sik of people nagging me to see inside I have borrowed a camera and taken some snap shots of the Sirios that I modify. Sorry for average quality photos for I am a racer.
Please note that these mods are 100% hand done and and are a combination of over 15 years of racing and modifing experience.
These motors are not commercially available, however there are about 10 currently screaming around the tracks downunder and most will make their way to the 200 mm worlds next month.

Default More Picks

With these shots you can see the tricky xhaust port work on inside of liner, this helps achieve greater RPMs without losing out on the bottom end.
Basically on the track these motors maintain the awsome Sirio bottom end whilst pulling through a very strong midrange right through to the crazy top end, a vast improvement on the stock available engines.
The power band is configured for optimum results with the current Sirio evo 3 pipe.
As these motors will pull like mad all the way through the range there is always an optimum gearing and gear box setting, which will optmise your lap times. Its easy to fall for this with so much power on tap.

Go Alex. Awesome work. I race against this guy, and i can vouch for the speed of his engines! Awesome. Best thing is, they dont lose bottom end grunt at the expense of top end. Very strong through out the range.

We race on a big track and no problems with run time. In Australia though, we only run 16% Nitro in 200mm Tourers

The only time I have run out of fuel with these latest speck engines is when I had a leaky tank.

Kickass:

Looks good, best of luck to you in a fortnight at the Worlds. Are you still flying the G4S banner?

Well done Alex. But you're lucky, they only ask to you for photos... Someones asked me too for photos and timing schemes and other data I needed to find out before.

Seems that the black horror stories about Sirios in OZ is starting to be a thing of the past with your work too. Are great engines, but need an importer who support them too, if not, they're only junk.

For what I've seen in your photos, you're basically port matching the crankcase on the sleeve (very well done) but, have you faced problems with the lower support of the Sleeve doing this (piston rocking and scuffing side piston skirt)?
