i have 2 engines that had some problems which the owners were too lazy (one of them was me) to fix and brought new ones (Ninja & RB). The old engines i have decided to take on as projects. 1st is a Hyper 21 8 port pro (14mm bearing)(initially cooked piston, so new sleeve & piston reqd) and 2nd is a O.S. Vspec (conrod smashed & piston damaged). Great base lines to start from. Does anybody know a good website or link that can explain in better details the effect of each action on porting the sleeve to the max, also is it worth buying ceramic bearings for them ? i.e does it make a whole lot of performance difference ?
