Hobao Hyper 12
 

This will be the "Official" thread for the Hobao hyper 12 in R/C tech

Actually, I am new to the nitro world but have tested some of the engines thx to my friends. The engine that I loved was the O.S. CV because it is a bit slower than those TR and Novas Plus it is easy to maintain. Yesterday I got my first Nitro kit and slapped in a Hobao Hyper 12. According to my friend, the hobao hyper 12 has the same power as the CV but after the break in and tuning... I tell you he was LYING! it was so fast that when I first used it, it went out of my controll and slammed my car on a wall. Fortunately nothing was broken except a dented side pipe. I was amazed that it matched the speed of the O.S. TR and it can ALMOST match the power of the Novarossi L5!

So... does anyone have an Hyper 12?
