Looks like PICCO took the .21 size engine production from Japanese manufacturers.
These seen @ redrc.net website for off-road use.
The wait will still be a little longer for on-road for sure.

0.8 spring preload only???

I use 1.5 spring preload,CRF square wire spring,XRAY Yellow shoe,0.5 gap and 0.15 endplay in my NT1

This is correct???

Last weekend I drove a brandnew Orion engine at the EC-B and I have to say that it is great. Very easy to tune and very good power.
But you really feel the difference to the old Orion engines. I had to use 17/23 instead of a 16/22 which many others drove.
I'm looking forward to race with this engines this season!

Because it is Picco made and did lose almost the whole concept exept the crankshaft I can imagine the engine is also more Picco timed and so less RPM and more power.

Last weekend in the Dutch nationals there was a Orion CRF .21 onroad driven by Kyosho driver Ilia v. Gastel. It was not the fastest engine on the track but he made a top 4 qualifier. In the final he broke his engine, I do not know what hapened but regarding the quality at this moment of the Picco engines I think it is no sign others will follow.

The fastest engine was from Rick-V who was using a JP Eagle 09.s, it had an insane high rpm.

Some pics:

(there are 2 of the Orion CRF)

The JP is based on a NR 35-plus-21 with so far I know a higher exhaust port.
The first edition LC 35+ has all the marks of the current 359 and the LC Cordoba is an Evolution.

I do hear some complains about the smaller crankpin (4.45mm) of the current NR engines and it seems the JP is getting more populair because the old solid 5mm crankpin.

But (as always) you can not compare an engine of a teamdriver with something you can get in the store....
