Sweet! Now for the questions:

% Nitro:
Engine Operating temperature range:
High speed needle setting from factory:
Low speed need setting from factory:

Approximate Ambient temperature:
Type of track:
Tire shore (front/rear):

Also, since you're running RRR, what was your clutch spring nut setting?

Thanks!

Answers:
30% Odonnell fuel
temp range during testing 190-235 (with one failed run to 295! oops!)
Pipe: Noverossi 2601 w/short conical header
Fuel settings: really depends on the pipe, fuel, temp, etc. Plus I lost track of std settings so I can't furnish this data!
track temp: 75deg
Track type: Fairly long (Crystal Park, CA)
Tire shore 40F 58.0mm 40 R 60.0mm
Clutch setting: Grey shoe, Red 1/8 evolva spring @ 2.2mm preload (from the top down) .5mm gap

Gotta go, Hope this helps!

You can find the temps and factory settings in the manual that you can download from the website. http://www.peakmotors.com/peak/downl...k_rev_inst.pdf

I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear. I'm interested in what he had changed the settings to from the default settings. i.e. default main needle setting is 5.5, did he lean it out to 5? 4.5? I realize that this may not apply to my adjustments.

On temperature, I read that the break-in temp is between 190-212F; 221-257F operating. I'm interested in what his temps were out on track. Was he running mostly on the lower side, above 257, etc. etc. The fact that he got the engine up to 295 is good info.

I think you would agree, that early adopters of new technology (I consider the WASP REV design new technology) need all the info that they can get to be successful. In my case, I have to break-in the engine and race on the same day, so it's critical that I plan things out (write it down) and know exactly what I'm doing.

Rick / Josh,

So with the new engine design what plugs do the team recommend? Any suggestion for for 70F w/ 65% humidity.

Its like asking whats the difference between a REX, a TOP and a Novarossi engine... Nothing, just the names.
