Default Got the Conrod for the Mega 5PT Turbo now then...........;

How do i safely get the Little rings off the connecting rod in the Piston and does the piston have the indentation towards the back of the engine or front

Thanks Guys your are too cool.
dont know best way to get little rings off, never done it but the piston skirt cutout faces the crank to clear it when engine rotates.

Not to clear it when engine rotates, but to open the ports earlier......

Get the clips out with a little screwdriver....
and getting them out is not the problem, getting NEW ones in..... (never use old ones)
You only have to remove 1 clip, as you can push the conrod pin out then.....

Also watch the conrod, cause this also needs to be fitted correct.
Just look at the lubrication hole for the big-end bearing (which connects to the crankshaft) this hole should also face the crank

That's normal....
You can use the old clips, but I would not recommend that....
If you get some new ones, get a bunch, because they tend to jump into places where you will never find them back...

If you are more experienced you will get the feeling of how to do it without them jumping around (watch your eyes!!!!)
