Novarossi Mephisto Piston
 

I'm after a new piston for my friends Novarossi Mephisto gt5 engine if anyone knows of any available. Part no.06009

Pistons are hard to get, you just need to get a piston/sleeve set. Due tolerances on such a precise fit it is impossible to get a piston with a direct fit.

On Facebook I did see an asian shop who can make a new piston but you do need to send in your sleeve, only I can not remember the name of that shop.

Partnumber of the P/S set is listed in the manual, just google arround.

Maybe an idea to contact GiMar, he is still producing and selling a lot of his Novarossi based engines

the complete set p/s # i searched from google is 08581, i guess you may still buy it online

I recall somebody here mentioned an Italian shop that services engines and I recall I visited their website and saw they do make new piston to order. However, I forget that shop’s name…
