SH Engine .12 Pro for a beginner

How is the SH Engine .12 that A-Main has for $130.00
Its going in a Serpent 748WC car. I'm planning on learning with it, and club racing,
How is it for tuning, and keeping a tune though the day?
Or would I be better in stepping up to the Novarossi ISON 3 port .12
Trying to keep the budge down on the engine as I need to buy the rest of the stuff needed to run (pipe, starter, servos and other parts)

I would suggest the Ison, just based on parts availability alone. Plus the Ison .12 or .21 is a workhorse

In the past I have seen a MTX3 powered by an SH, was not bad but for sure not my choice. I would sugest the Novarossi Sturm you can find for 100 dollar or even less

If price is your main concern just get the Nova Stürm instead of that SH.
