.21 engine
With the highest timing profile? |
Id suggest sending a PM to Roelof or Rody on here.
|
That is the one you can make....
While you put this question in both onroad and offroad section it would be nice to know for what purpose. A high timed onroad engine will run as crap in an offroad.... And what is high timed? There are several ways to get more performance out of an engine, the latest trend is a very large crank timing with a normal or even low exhaust timing and before that a normal but a bit enlarged crank timing and a high exhaust port. |
Drag
Did not mean to use the wrong terminology in maybe the wrong context. But I am saying what you just said. Timing on the crank or any other ways to get best performance out of drag engine. I was told that the best drag engine was the Nov 35 plus 21 all the way around. |
Thanks 1/8 |
I do not think the 35+ is a good drag engine because there are better performing engines. But the 35+ is a good base to be modified to more performance in any way. I have no sight on specific drag timings although I was told the crank can have a huge opening.

so what engine you would suggest on what you think? |
Any high end onroad engine. If you can find an Ielasi 9CL you will have a nice thing with a lighter (14mm) crankshaft. Also MAX has a model with a 14mm crankshaft.
Otherwise an OS .21 eurospec, the new 2104 or simulair from Maxima and the Kabuto. But again, a 35+ is a good base to modify it and for sure with current prices a much cheaper alternative |
What would be your top 2 you would go to if it was you? |
yes it can be helpful for anyone, but specially for me . lol
