Comparable engine to Rex Revenge .12
 

Hello, I have a Rex Revenge. For me it's perfect, fuel usage, price, speed, reliability, etc. But I see they don't make this engine any more. My question is what is a comparable engine to this, mostly reliability, price, and fuel usage.

No, the revenge was quite a bit faster than the ison when we compared them at our track.

The legend / legend r is my pick for value right now, with more power than the revenge and similar fuel mileage.

Thanks. I was looking at the legend. Is the legend 12r much faster then the legend 12?

I have both these engines and the obvious difference is the crank. The Legend R is more tuned and i have found it a lot faster.

My choice engine would be Flash, the piston, sleeve, conrod and crank are all identical between the two. However the Flash doesn't use the odd ball and expensive main bearing like the Legend R does should you ever need to replace it.
