Default nitro fuel % for .12 race engines?

hi guys i was wondering what nitro percentage you use on .12 race engines.
16% or 20%? is 25% safe?
i just bought a novarossi .12 mito tuned..

.12's are designed for 16%. That's what the legal percentage of fuel is in most parts of the world in 1/10 gas. You can run 25% but I'd recommend adding a 0.1mm headshim if you do.

Figured I'd ask this here, is it really worth buying 100+ bottle of Byron's 30% fuel for a LRP .30 and a OS .21? I mean I want good engine performance with long life, but can get another brand for about $30 cheaper. Is it worth to go Byron? Also, is 30% good to run in the OS? I know the LRP ran off that, but not sure about the OS. All help appreciated thanks.

Fuel quality is extremely important. Without knowing what the other stuff is I would Go with Byron's as there must be a reason why the other stuff is $30 cheaper! What is the other stuff you're considering? The OS will be fine on 30%

Well, was Werks fuel which seemed to get some good rating but ended up just getting another 4 gallon Byron 30% Race fuel. They tried to get me with the $70 shipping on the Werks fuel so it would have been more than the free shipping on Byron's with 2 other small things in my cart. Thanks for the help, though.
