New here

Hey guys my name is Adam Argue I am pretty new to Oklahoma city and to racing I have been into crawling for about 4 years but I am thinking about getting into sc racing I have a stock slash 2wd I'd like to race and eventually upgrade as I get better. Are there places u local guys race in the winter? Preferably I door.

I think Adams Creek is the closest indoor track to race at during the winter. It's on the other side of Tulsa, in Broken Arrow. Here's a link to their forum.

Oops, that's if you want to race offroad. Competition RC has a small indoor track, but I think it's paved. They're on SE 89th street.

Comp does run short course on their paved indoor track. I have not been there in awhile, but I think they get a pretty solid turnout. During the spring and summer they run outdoors. In the spring Oklahoma Nitro Club will start the 2012 season and offers some sct racing as well. And as UpDuhCreek mentioned, Adam's creek runs indoor sct on Tuesday night and Saturdays in Broken Arrow.

doe adams creek offer any 8th scale indoor?

upDUHcreek 01-10-2012 11:40 AM

Their offroad track is pretty small for an 8th scale, but they probablly run some kind of 8th scale racing on the oval. Someone should answer your question on the Adams Creek thread eventually. If you're in a hurry, try asking your question on the Adams Creek Forum. There's a link in my previous post in this thread.

Welcome Adam. Competition R/C on 89th is racing SC trucks indoors on the concrete during the winter. Turnout is very good. This past Saturday had 64 racers, but that includes some oval racers, but i think it was mostly SC guys and gals. Good turnout and good fender to fender racing as the track is fairly small, but very fun.

As Billy said, Taylor Park in the warmer months is a fun place to race. If you have any questions or need any help, don't hesitate to ask here or you can message me and i'd be happy to help if I can.
