Sorry Chris..
busy with kids camp demo day this week
Then...
Yukon Friday Fun Day at the track next Friday at 10am
Then,
Building the drivers stand extension next Thursday and Friday at night and Saturday if necessary to finish
Then,
Catch your breath and get ready for the next phase,
Build the new layout August 6th weekend

Sorry about the boring track, but there is a lot more pieces to the puzzle than just building tracks. Won't be long

Looking forward to lots of help with all the projects coming up

Have a Safe and Happy 4th Everyone

Jason

I'm pretty happy with the layout right now.

Track builds that start at flat ground are a pain in the ass, especially when only a few people show up or actually work on the build.

Moving all that dirt by shovel and barrel sucked back in May, and that was only a few midsized jumps.

Right now the work window is small due to the heat.

It will take a full Sunday and 4 weeknights to do a full ground up build.

Can I commit to that? Hell no.

Can you, (your name here), commit to that? (your answer here)

That being said ... can't wait to see everyone at the track build in Aug ... shovels are free to use.

I will help build it. Until then, the SC needs a reroute so we can practice together w/o sharing a lane going opposite ways. There has to be a better way.

I don't run things. I pay membership and race.

Just bouncing ideas around ...

Do you think it would be okay to run the same track? Other tracks I have been to run the same layout ... even with huge obstacles.

I'm not a big fan of the re-route either. I never run laps on race days because I'm afraid I'll hit a SC and smash it into a million pieces.

Why a 5' shovel?

I just want to know if I could please get a longer run up to the back double double. I have a goal of quading that whole back section.

Also. Is there anyway we could not have Midnight announce anymore. He scares me.

Here's the track in Germany I was talking about that has the concrete, full wood, wall ride turn into a huge jump.
