Default Central Ohio.... anything

Whatís the RC scene like in Columbus anymore? Iíve been in the hobby about 6 months now and havenít seen much at all in terms of tracks, shops, groups etc. I know there are a few decent shops and anything can be found online so more interested in places to race/drive. Indoor our door doesnít matter. Iíd be down to try and set something up as well (that goes for anything listed above). Let me know

There are several race tracks in the Central Ohio area. Just depends on what you're interested in. 99% of the tracks are indoor. Here are some off the top of my head. I'm sure there are a couple more.
Offroad:
EN Hobbies(carpet) - Columbus
Ohio RC Factory(dirt) - Jeffersonville

Onroad:
EN Hobbies(carpet) - Columbus
Access Hobbies(carpet) - Springfield
Queen City RC(carpet) - Cincinnati
The Gate N.O.R.C.A.R(carpet) - Brunswick
Mansfield RC(carpet) - Mansfield
One Eighth Racers of Toledo(carpet) - Toledo *They also have an outdoor asphalt track in the summer*

Most of these tracks have Facebook and/or websites

EN Hobbies no longer does onroad. They are turning the track into an oval. The Offroad track is still there

Why are they shutting down the On-road? I feel like that is a mistake. Is there really more Oval interest over On-road?
