Exclamation One Eighth Racers of Toledo - 2019 Outdoor Season

It's time to break out the one-way lube and join us for another season of fun in the sun! The One Eighth Racers of Toledo are excited to welcome you back for another go-around at the ol' Woodville Mall site.

The club would also like to welcome all of its new members from Team Nitro. Everyone is looking forward to working with Mike Parker and his bad back this upcoming season.

Attached is the tentative schedule. Any updates will be posted here and on the club Facebook page.

One noteworthy event: Bob Deitz has volunteered to call in a few favors to ensure that it doesn't rain during the 2019 Great Lakes Challenge. Thanks, Bob!

See everyone soon!

The track prep is complete! Keep your eyes open here and on the Facebook page for updates. Weather permitting, the track will be prepped for Test & Tune on Saturday, April 20. First club race is scheduled for April 28.

If you're not on Facebook, please do so (I'm looking at you, Mark Unger). Updates come more readily there.

Get those cars ready for a 5 months of pure excitement. Come break-in a new engine. Come and get new setup tips from Gene Greer. Come and help Joe Tuttle put paper in the printer. Remember, Diamond Jim Palansky and the Midwest Series will be rolling into town on May 17th and you need to be prepared to hit the ground running!

Ah, Mike. It is my goal in life to never do Facebook, or for that matter, any social media! And I'm sure I'll accomplish that goal. Please keep me posted here. I'd hate to miss any new setup tips!

⚠️⚠️⚠️ We are sorry to inform you that due to weather we will be cancelling our first club race of the year this Sunday (April 28). ⚠️⚠️⚠️

The forecast for Sunday is a high temp of 51 with northwest winds 10-25mph. There is also a chance of 1-3 inches of snow by Sunday morning. We hope to see everyone May 5th.

Good news: the track will be sprayed late Saturday morning and the track will be open for practice. So come on out and burn some nitro tomorrow (April 27).

If I wanted to start racing on road what class would be the best to start with. Just started racing indoors agin after years of not racing.

Are you asking about indoor or outdoor?
Indoor Electric: VTA, WGTR or Euro Truck
Outdoor Nitro: 1/8th Scale Pan car
