I own the os xz-b v2 . Its a great mill , but its in my buggy . Its a good mid range engine , but I wouldn't take b5 pro out of my truck and swap them. The B5 just rips in a truck , running the 2013 pipe its tough down low. Has been a good engine. Now ...

If I weren't racing , I would have a roma .25 , or one of the big legend or lrp .32 mills.

About 8:30. I can get 10 on a tight low speed indoor track.

Yeah, was thinking it would be on the shy side....being a ground pounder powerhouse engine.

My keep off 7 xls(pretty much a full ceramic bonito) will pit at ten in truggy. 41005 9901 7mm eb mods venturi with quite a bit of rip.
The paloma is faster though but the keep off/ bonito has more snap

Another vote for the Rex Paloma Limited .21. Get the orange head not the blue one. Don't let the low price fool you, this engine is a beast. Its my primary race engine in my NT48.

Rex Paloma Limited..... you wont find more power for less, and its Nova quality to boot. I would normally recommend the Elite 5, but at that price, the Paloma Limited (gold head) is a much better choice. I run mine with a 9853/021, for max low-mid range performance for the track. If your looking for more, the 9886/001 would most likely give you the best all-out power.

So would the pluma Limited be a better investment than the 5B pro 2 ?

In my opinion, yes..... just based off price alone. That does not make the B5 a worse engine.... just not as much value.

In my opinion yes. Not only is the quality extremely good for the price it also has excellent performance. And you could buy two of them for the price of 1 Werks. Thats a no brainer to me.
