Default New OS XR-B motor version II

from Schizuoka show...

MAX-21XR-B Ver.II???????????

Pretty excited for a lower cost alternative, DLC or not, this I hope will finally be again a good starter motor / basic OS Entry motor.

So here is my question what is upgradeable on this engine? It doesnt have the same case as the xzb II Blue head and it has a three needle carb as the Blue Head only has a 2 needle carb. I guess you could drop a pistion a sleeve from the xzb spec III. If I was in the market I wouldn't waste the money on upgrading it and just keep it the same. I have two brand new 21's that have never been fired as I moved to area in north Texas that has no track what so ever to run on! oh well thanks Michael

Just finished break in on this new motor. Happy to say that it feels like an OS of the old days!! Tons of power, easy break in, and will idle forever!! Think I'm going to be happy with this one!!

That's great what car do you have it in and what fuel are you running in it? I have a brand xzb blue head II that I intend on running it in my brand new durango DNX 8 that I need to finish soon.
Thanks
Michael

Running it my Agama A215T. Using Byron's 30/9 and an alpha 0801 pipe. IMO, the xr-b is a much stronger, yet smoother engine than the xz-b. Just basing this off the break in period of both so far.
