Im sure Novarossi wouldn't sell after run oil that wasn't silicone safe...Marvel Mystery Oil works great too. Get a big container and split with buddies. Even cheaper

Yes it's safe and I'm also almost positive it's just repackaged mineral oil at 1000% markup like a lot of things in this hobby.

Save your money and buy Singer sewing machine oil - its more or less the same thing in a much larger bottle that is a crap-load cheaper.

The 1M2 is safe for filled cranks, it's a synthetic oil. It's red rather than clear.
