Am i running too rich?
I am a nitro newbie. I almost finished break in, started tuning a bit, and after a tank of fun, i notced that the exhaust is leaking/dripping burnt nitro (that dark yellow honey like goo). Am i running too Rich or is it good for break in? Also are the screws of the engine glued in? (vx-18 hsp backwash)

Screws not glued. That's burnt castor oil. Depending on what nitro you are using it will be worse or less. Some fuels run lower oil content and some use a synthetic blend over traditional castor. If it's dripping I say lean her out some. Tune for best performance. Keep a good trail of smoke and keep it under 275 for most engines should do well

Low nitro, high oil content fuel. So you have a rubber coupler for the muffler to header? The zip ties shouldn't allow leaks if so you most likely have an exhaust leak to that will effect tuning.
