^^^probably just suck it up and get an OS

Sucks because the blue head would go perfect in a new Associated buggy or truggy

They are not EBIS broken in. I know this bc I have a Maxima Tebo engine and I also own an EBIS machine.

Iíll find the post. Iím pretty sure Jared was selling them ebis broken in. He said it was exactly how he got them for himself he was selling them that way.
Iím not saying when you buy them from wherever in Europe they are broken in. Im saying I think Jared was selling them ebis broken in cause he said it was the way he got engine. If I find the post Iíll post it up.

You can get OS With a Blue Head, may not be an OS Speed, but Blue head nonetheless! https://www.osengines.com/engines-ca...056/index.html or https://www.osengines.com/engines-ca...053/index.html

It is unfortunate with all the Maxima Hype on here that there is no distribution as of yet.... which we had talked about since the beginning. Like I said before as others, just stick with OS! They have great Support in the US.

No, still not correct. EBIS is an oil bath break in machine. Maxima does not use an EBIS machine to break their engines in. And yes I remember Jared's post because I was one of the people who bought an engine from Jared during that 2hr time period. My engine does not seem pre-run at all, it seems to have been lapped using s lapping compound.

Has the quality of the workmanship improved since the first runs?

Can I just ask, what is so special about this engine? Looks like any old rebranded/overpriced thing to me... but is it actually different somehow?

Nothing, its an overpriced OS Motor. And from the pics Motorman has shared with me of his MX Motor, the workmanship is rather lousy. Grinding / Polishing the crank etc. and removing the DLC Coating at that. At least Rody modified existing cranks then had them DLC Coated!!!!!

Everybody seems to want one as its un-obtainable, lol. There is nothing wrong with any of the regular OS motors, if you want a special OS Motor, buy a VS Racing, Collari or EB Mods modified OS motor that have high quality workmanship and save some cash!!!
