Mugen Ninja is also coming out with 2060 and 2090 pipes with the pressure nipple facing the rear instead of the front like OS.

its an awesome engine, just as you would expect. Super smooth, tons of high end, plenty of bottom. Great buggy engine.

Can anyone confirm that B03 is a copy of B2101? Or there are some differences?

Need some help. I am getting into the nitro scene and kind of torn between motors. I am looking at the Protek Samurai, Ninja JX21-03, and O.S.-2101. The cost of the Protek is appealing. I've scene in previous posts that these 3 motors are basically identical. Can anyone confirm? Also, what would be your preference of the 3?

The ninja and OS are the same. The Protek is very different. It is a short stroke engine built off of the older OS speed engines. It is was my choice I would go with the Protek.

Yanman hit it right on.

This motor is a rebadged B2101. The Tessmann B2101 is also nearly the same, though the 2090 header is different. All three of them have a square (same) bore/stroke.

The Protek has VZB (short stroke) internals in a spec 2 (XZB) block.

Because of the silver head? Its the same engine as a B2101/Ninja B03 except for it has the new 22C carb, New silver graphic head and a Steel rear bearing instead of ceramic.
