Ran with a few OS, FX, and Nova's. The only one that looked like a bullet was Saxton (not sure what engine he ran) and most of that could have been buggy setup and driver. He was in and out of corners so fast. The motor just suits my driving style. I could use a bit more bottom end at times but the overall feel of the motor keeps me running it.

Default AMS 8.0 2017

I would like to first say I am sponsored by Triton Engines. I have ran these engines for almost a year and it has been great. My L5 on my truggy did not disappoint this race weekend. I had plenty of power for this year's AMS layout with fuel mileage. I know Triton Engines are not well known but for us that run them they are awesome. I have let several friends run my truggy and they all say "the engine has plenty of power and is easy to drive."

L5 puts a smile on my face. Pro-Line gas champs qualified 7th in the A of sprtsman. Was unable to make the main. This motor rips, had no worries about power. JBRL at FF didn't go as well qualified 6th in the B and felt like it was an easy race to get into the A. Pit guy decided to mess with my top end needle and not compensate with idle and stalled twice. Ended up 8th. This engine is so sweet. I can tell you I heard a gasp from a guy when he thought he had a pass and I simply gassed it and left him. Braaap!

A lot of guys are liking the Triton GT because is has big bottom and killer top end. Which with other GT engines they all seem to lack on one end or the other.

For the price and how it runs don't sleep on the L3 people. Just ran the North vs South race at CVR 2.0 in Madera, CA. Man did I turn some heads........again. Running a TKI4 with this lovely power plant pushing it Plenty of power and fuel mileage with the 2034 was pretty good.

The Pipes make a huge difference on the Triton engines. If you don't want aggressive you can use the 2108 pipe for truggy with the L5 and I would be just what you are looking for very smooth, not too aggressive. Then if you ever want more punch switch to the 2034.
