Got my L3 today. Can't wait to get it all in the car and some practice laps in. Thanks Lance for the super quick turn around.

Medium or hot glow plugs in the L4 and L5? Advantages/disadvantages to each? Thanks.

#6 is a medium plug and will allow you to lean out the engine a couple hours more and get a tick better mileage.

#5 is a hot plug and will have a slightly wider tuning window but will not be able to lean out as much as #6 so will get a tick less mileage.

Congrats to Triton driver Billy Fischer for the TQ and win in Pro buggy at the AZRCR Championship race! Billy used the Triton L5 and 2034 pipe.

Hello everyone. A year ago i bought a L4 + 2108, although I ran the season with my Reds R5T with great satisfaction.

A week ago, i ran the last Canary Islands race (Spain) with a 2nd place. I loved the engine!!. It was more progressive than the powerful Reds and it had more lows and highs. I was delighted. ).

The engine finished at 108 șC with an autonomy of 8.5 minutes. The ideal would be to refuel to 10 minutes that I do not know if I will get it, because I usually give a lot of trigger. Reading in this forum, it seems to be possible. I Will be seen in the following races .....

Thank you so much for the feedback!

mileage will vary on track and driver but on a hot day the L4 and L5 will run in the 250-280 range. On cold days it will be less. But I see some guys leave the tune too rich because the engines are already crazy fast. But in reality they are not optimally tuned for best mileage. This may not be the case but just throwing it out there.

There is a BIG difference between the Tritons and ANY other engines so I am glad in your testing you noticed a big difference between the Reds and the Triton. With so many copy cat rebadged engines out there I understand why people assume, but Triton are not. I designed them to be what I feel is the best in all areas. Including mileage, reliability, tuning and I designed them to have a more progressive powerband. Most other engines out there are "on or off" and have a light switch feel. and some driver like that but then you lack control which is needed for off road. The powerband on the Tritons help drivers be faster. And keep in mind Triton are one of the if not the fastest engines on the market so although they are linear, that does not mean "weak" like some other "smooth" engins on the market out there that are smooth because they simply do not put out much power. That is not the case with Triton.

thanks again for your feedback!

I have been running the Triton L5 engine for some time now, I have to say I LOVE THESE ENGINES Best I have ever owned!!! I just lost one last week and it had 12 gallons on it. That engine has been through a lot of races and practices. I got the engine on Apr 18, 2016 almost 9 mouths ago and I race twice a mouth and I try to practice at least once a week. I was getting about 10 minutes on it.. I have owned OS and noss protek engines and would only get like 5 or 6 gallons on them. Thanks Lance for the best engines out there!! Keep up the good work buddy!
