Default engine gurus, need help with a pipe

Just purchased a nova roma, and need help picking the correct pipe for it. It will be in a Losi 8ight-T 3.0.

I will be racing this vehicle only at www.rctracksoflasvegas.com for the foreseeable future. 30-35 second lap times depending on if you are a pro or not. not sure of conditions, or if the track is considered technical or not. Only been open a month.

I have read everything regarding nova roma and pipe, and through this got these pipes i should use:9886, 9853, 9901, 2096, 086(ofna or dynamite?), and a jp 3. And use these pipes with either the included header, or a nova 41021 header.I have no clue which one to choose based on my driving style, track conditions, etc... those are unknowns, as this is all new to me.

I just need the one pipe, out of that plethora above, that will give this motor the top end it needs for the 195ft long straight, and enough grunt and mid range pop for getting over stuff. If once I get racing, and find I need more mid range, bottom, or top, I can change pipes at that time, but I need something now, and don't want to purchase something that won't truly make this engine perform to its potential.

Thank you for any help you could offer.

In your case, I would go with the Nova 9886 pipe coupled to a Nova 41001 header but you're going to get a million different opinions...

If you wish to neuter the engine then run a 2096/41021...that will soften the power substantially...really good for slippery tracks with poor traction

if you want it to perform and make big power then 9886/41001 ! it will scream to its full potential with this pipe...really good for grippy tracks with good traction

Neal, whats your comparison in general of the 9901, 9853, and the 2096?

I don't have a lot of experience comparing different pipes but I did just recently put a 9901 w/ 41021 header on a Rex Paloma 21 7 port and the bottom end is now crazy stupid fast.

I had a JP4 on it and that seemed all top end.

The 9901 woke mine up nicely and I still seem to have all the top end I had and maybe more.

Not suggesting any thing, just sharing my recent experience with it.
