The Plus 5 is very similar to the Novarossi BTT. With more power in the mid and top end. It has a very usable power band. We are getting great run times.

Got the Paloma 21 a couple months ago.
This one here:

Awesome!
Running it with a JP4 and Sidewinder 30%. I think it's made the OFNA I put it in into possibly my fastest car.
Had to change the front bearing already at about 1 gallon but for $15, that was no big deal.
I was going to order the 9901 SuperStrong to see what difference it will make but xmas sorta made me wait til the payday.

Oh ya, and what I forgot to mention:
When I changed the bearing, I saw a lot of the same Nova parts in there. The R7 rod and the piston & sleeve looked pretty much exactly like my Beat 5.
The carbs are for sure the same. That's obvious but the Rex didn't have that extra tight head button and O-ring like my Beat 5.
And I finally just found one of my pics of my Rex out of the car.

There's also something I read in RC Driver magazine about the size difference in the crank and one other thing but I don't remember what it was.

Upon further inspection, I see I might have had it confused with the 5 port.
The blue head Paloma is probably also a 7 port.
Tring to find what I did with that mag issue that talks about this.
