Frony bearing change on an Associated. .15 engine

I need to change the bearing on my engine. it is sounding gritty and the stock bearing has a metal seal.

is it ok to install a rubber seal bearing made for an axle? i run on a very dusty track so i would like a rubbet seal to keep the dust out but im worried about the fuel eating the rubber. are there special engine bearings? i am only finding non engine bearings in this size.

thanks

You need to use an engine bearing, they are different than standard bearings and axle bearings. But you can use one with a metal shield or rubber seal.
