Would not call a b02 smooth ever

I would not say there was a engine like a b02

Try a Hudy FX.....i think the performance is quite comparable to a BO2 Ninja ....

Frank L 11-04-2013 07:42 AM

The FX does look like a nice engine.
The nova BTT would have been a better choice over the p5 for. What you are looking for.

Eastside777 11-04-2013 08:25 AM

The BTT just doesn't get it done at our track.

rider313 11-04-2013 10:22 AM

The Hudy FX engine looks like a real winner.

^^^

I'd go close to say its very similar in how it runs to the bo1

If you want the P5 to be smooth, just put 20% nitro in it.

I'm sort of a bit confused here as I've said before the bo2 is not a smooth engine but each to there own.
And I get the btta with the right combo to out run any engine on any of our tracks

So I'm gona say this I'm assuming you need a smoothish engine with gobs of power right ?

Go get your self a fusion x7 with a 9901 pipe you will not look back

Eivind E 11-06-2013 03:08 PM

doesn't smooth just mean lacking power..

psr 11-06-2013 03:35 PM

No not all all lol

Smooth means it has a linear power curve in my view lots of people tell me nova btta engines have no power down low but it's just they have smooth delivery of that power

You just need to know how to set your gear up to make that come alive
My car at our recent states I had a few top sponsored guys from over east ask me how I got my off the shelf engine to behave like it does
One even commented that's not a nova can't be
My engine out accelerated 99% of engines on our track out ran all of them on the straight in buggy the only other engine to be faster than mine was a x7

Moral of the story it's how you set it up but took me nearly 18 months to under stand never give up and persistence
