That engine is a beast. Too many variables (staying in the groove, tires, traction, CB, fuel, pipe, loose track ETC..) it goes on and on for run times but obviously less then a .21

I have run truggy for many years now. I have had all kinds of motors in them. The best have been the Nova Bonito w/ceramic bearings or the OS Speed .21.

Ive also run the Nova P5 which lead me to my fastest year to date.

The OS 28 is an over powered gas guzzler. In my opinion it is WAY to much for racing. Ive ran the .28 about NEVER got over 7 mins with it tuned correctly. Ive always had it tuned on the rich side so I can control the truck.

Most people run .21's in truck. They have plenty of power and fuel economy is awesome for truck. With my Bonito, tuned right and not donkey flippin all over the track, I can pit at 11mins.

I will say, the last race here, top 4 truggies. 2 Bonitos, 1 Nova P5 and 1 Werks. All qualified on the same lap.. Point: its more of the driver than the motor.

The lutz alpha runs great but check out the Alpha engine thread here: http://www.rctech.net/forum/offroad-...gines-629.html

You can get all the feedback you need from people who race with the Alpha engines.
